R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kim Flenniken is being recognized with the |
|
|
Professional Award by the YWCA of Lubbock at its annual Women of |
|
|
Excellence awards ceremony on March 9, 2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Created in 1989, the Women of Excellence awards |
|
|
honor individuals for their contributions as leaders and |
|
|
volunteers, highlighting the vital roles that women play in civic |
|
|
and professional endeavors in the Lubbock area; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Flenniken is a Realtor for McDougal Realtors in |
|
|
Lubbock, where she has forged strong relationships with her clients |
|
|
and built a base consisting primarily of referrals and returning |
|
|
customers; after more than 20 years in the real estate industry, she |
|
|
is able to offer her clients the great benefits of her broad |
|
|
knowledge and experience; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With her receipt of a Women of Excellence award, Kim |
|
|
Flenniken joins an elite group of women who have been honored by the |
|
|
YWCA of Lubbock, and she is indeed a worthy role model for this and |
|
|
future generations; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kim Flenniken on receiving a 2017 |
|
|
Women of Excellence award and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Flenniken as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
