R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the untimely loss of |
|
Brian Joseph Studer of Frisco, who passed away on February 6, 2017, |
|
at the age of 44; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on July 27, 1972, Brian Studer attended |
|
R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton and St. John's Northwestern |
|
Military Academy in Delafield, Wisconsin; raised in a family of |
|
aviation enthusiasts, he went on to serve his country in the United |
|
States Air Force; and |
|
WHEREAS, Brian Studer remained passionate about flying |
|
throughout his life, and he developed a special affinity for the |
|
QU-22, an aircraft flown by the 554th Reconnaissance "Vampires" |
|
Squadron during the Vietnam War; for years, Mr. Studer and his |
|
family were involved in organizing reunions for former members of |
|
the squadron, and he spent many hours researching and documenting |
|
the history of the QU-22; he was a maintenance operations manager |
|
and pilot at Tailwinds Aviation; and |
|
WHEREAS, Kind and thoughtful, Mr. Studer was always willing |
|
to help others when needed, and he was deeply committed to honoring |
|
his fellow veterans who had given so much for their nation; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although he will be greatly missed, Brian Studer |
|
left a profound impression on all those who were fortunate enough to |
|
know him, and he will forever hold a cherished place in their |
|
hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Brian Joseph Studer |
|
and extend sincere condolences to his family and friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Brian |
|
Studer. |
