R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Ursula Rachel Cedillo-Johnson of Prairie View is |
|
|
graduating from Barnard College on May 17, 2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Sylvia Cedillo and Darryl Johnson, |
|
|
Ursula Cedillo-Johnson is an alumna of St. Stephen's Episcopal High |
|
|
School in Austin, having graduated with honors in 2014; she has |
|
|
since demonstrated exceptional dedication and ability while |
|
|
working toward a bachelor's degree in anthropology at Barnard; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, After completing her undergraduate studies, |
|
|
Ms. Cedillo-Johnson plans to attend Columbia University, where she |
|
|
will pursue a master's degree in oral history with a concentration |
|
|
in film and film production; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan can indeed reflect with |
|
|
pride on her academic achievements as she looks forward to a future |
|
|
that is bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ursula Rachel Cedillo-Johnson on |
|
|
her graduation from Barnard College and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Cedillo-Johnson as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
