R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, The year 2016 marked the 50th anniversary of

WHEREAS, Lambert's opened its doors in December 1966, under
the ownership of sisters Ernestina "Tina" Rodriguez-Lambert and
Teresa Rodriguez; a year later, they were joined in the business by
a third sister, Alicia "Licha" Rodriguez Cisneros; when the company
welcomed its first clients, it was one of very few Latina-owned
financial services firms operating in the Coastal Bend; in addition
to tax consultation, Lambert's provides bookkeeping, payroll, and
notary services; over the years, it has built a reputation for

independent businesses that employ area citizens and strengthen the
local economy, and the owners and employees of Lambert's
Bookkeeping and Tax Service may take great pride in their company's

  community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas

  further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
