R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Members of the Tyler County Country Church in |
|
Woodville celebrated the grand opening of the church's new building |
|
at a banquet on March 10, 2017; and |
|
WHEREAS, This notable house of worship was originally |
|
established as the Tyler County Cowboy Church in October 2013, |
|
under the leadership of pastor Jordan Wilson; since that time, the |
|
congregation has grown significantly and now consists of some 275 |
|
members; and |
|
WHEREAS, The new 16,000-square-foot structure is the latest |
|
addition to the church's property, which features multiple |
|
buildings situated on 28 acres of land; the construction of the |
|
facility was made possible not only by the generosity of the |
|
church's congregants but also by contributions made from numerous |
|
area churches; the sanctuary hosted its inaugural service on March |
|
12; and |
|
WHEREAS, The Tyler County Country Church has served as a |
|
source of inspiration and guidance to many Woodville residents who |
|
seek a full and meaningful spiritual life, and it is a privilege to |
|
recognize the continuing commitment of this congregation to its |
|
faith and to the wider community; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the grand opening of the new Tyler |
|
County Country Church building and extend to all those associated |
|
with the church sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the church as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
