R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. A. Stephen Lenz was one of five Texas A&M |
|
|
University--Corpus Christi employees who were named 2016 40 Under |
|
|
40 honorees by Corpus Christi Under 40; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, CCU40 recognizes 40 men and women under |
|
|
the age of 40 who have worked to make a positive difference in the |
|
|
Corpus Christi area through both their professional and community |
|
|
endeavors; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An assistant professor of counselor education, |
|
|
Dr. Lenz also serves as admissions coordinator for the university's |
|
|
master's degree program in counseling and as director of its |
|
|
Supporting Pediatric Adjustment and Resilience through Counseling |
|
|
Program, which promotes an integrated behavioral health network to |
|
|
treat youth; he has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and |
|
|
families in community-based counseling, and he specializes in the |
|
|
treatment of trauma and positive psychology interventions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. A. Stephen Lenz has set an outstanding example |
|
|
of professional achievement and civic engagement, and he may take |
|
|
justifiable pride in his contributions to the Coastal Bend |
|
|
community; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. A. Stephen Lenz on his |
|
|
selection as a 2016 Corpus Christi 40 Under 40 honoree and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success in his important |
|
|
work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Lenz as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
