R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Gregorio Vargas was presented with a Proud You're a |
|
|
Picker Award by the Robstown Independent School District in |
|
|
February 2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This accolade is given to district employees who |
|
|
have gone above and beyond their usual responsibilities in order to |
|
|
help a student, parent, volunteer, community member, or colleague; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A teacher at Robstown High School, Gregorio Vargas |
|
|
has distinguished himself through the exceptional kindness and |
|
|
compassion he shows his students; he takes a genuine interest in |
|
|
their concerns and offers them encouragement and advice for the |
|
|
challenges they confront in their daily lives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give generously of their time |
|
|
and talents strengthen the organizations in which they work, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to recognize this dedicated professional for his |
|
|
contributions to Robstown ISD; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Gregorio Vargas on his receipt of a |
|
|
Proud You're a Picker Award from the Robstown Independent School |
|
|
District and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Vargas as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
