R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Employees of the Behavioral Health Center of Nueces
  County were recognized for their years of dedicated service to the
  organization at a celebration on February 24, 2017; and
         WHEREAS, Established in 1969, the Behavioral Health Center
  provides services to area residents who struggle with mental
  illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities; each
  year, the center helps more than 10,000 people in a variety of ways,
  including medication counseling, benefits support, and job search
  assistance; and
         WHEREAS, Those employees who have completed two years of
  service with BHCNC are Jessica Alvarez, Oscar Beltran, Bonnie
  Boone, Brandi Lynn Brast, Jenny Cantu, Christopher S. Carroll,
  Christina Castaneda, Cynthia Castillo, John M. Castillo, Sabrina
  Corral, Maricela De La Fuente, Brandalyn Duda, Julissa Espinoza,
  Elisa Evins, Eva Forbes, Linda K. Fraser, Diana Gibson, Daniella
  N. Gonzalez, Vicki A. Guerra, Marie Guillen, Yolanda M. Gutierrez,
  Mallory Guzman, Tiffanie N. Harris, Brenda Ibarra, Michelle
  Leonard, Dakota Mawlawi, Robert Mendoza, Bridget Nuncio, Nesrin
  M. Omar, Brittany Palacios, Irma M. Perez, Yvonne Pichardo, Sandra
  S. Principe, Diana Rodriguez, Valeria Rodriguez, Karen Serrano,
  Valerie Tijerina, Lauraine Trevino, Rose E. Trevino, Mary Vasquez,
  Maximiliana Vidaure, J. Richard Willauer, and Roxanna Yaklin; and
         WHEREAS, Those who have been with the center for five years
  are Hector Benavidez, Ernest De La Garza, Roque Fuentes, Daisy
  Y. Garcia, Chad R. Hollenbaugh, Susan M. Lagrone, Laura
  A. Longoria, Dora Linda Lopez, George C. Marshall, Joe
  D. Martinez, Susana Martinez, Lisa L. Molina, Laura F. Palreiro,
  Rosaura M. Perez, Simon J. Perez, Maurice L. Smith, Bradley
  S. Thomas, and Heather K. Trevino; and
         WHEREAS, Employees Patricia Cardenas, Miguel A. Gutierrez,
  Kathleen A. Lamb, Joanna M. Olivarez, Patricia Patino, and Andrea
  R. Vela have each served BHCNC for 10 years, while those who have
  devoted 15 years to the center are Barbara Conley, Rebecca Dulin,
  and Mary Ellen Martinez; and
         WHEREAS, Debbie M. Sargent and Sheila B. Smith have attained
  the 20-year mark with the center, and Melinda Garza, Bruce Martin,
  Lorraine Moon, and Charles A. Smith have all worked with the center
  for a quarter century; and
         WHEREAS, An invaluable community resource, the Behavioral
  Health Center benefits immeasurably from the efforts of these loyal
  employees, and it is a privilege to join in honoring them at this
  time; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby recognize employees of the Behavioral Health
  Center of Nueces County for their service and extend to them sincere
  best wishes for continued success with their important work; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
