R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The untimely passing of Nadia Renee Guerra of Corpus
  Christi on May 12, 2012, at the age of 19, brought an immeasurable
  loss to the many people who were fortunate enough to share in the
  life of this beloved young woman; and
         WHEREAS, Nadia Guerra was born in Corpus Christi on April 21,
  1993, to Daniel Guerra and Melisa Alvarado Sanchez, and she had four
  sisters, Audreanna, Gabriella, Natalia, and Angeline, and three
  brothers, Elian, Ysaih, and Daniel; while in high school, she was
  involved in a host of extracurricular activities, including
  cheerleading, managing the baseball team, and serving as an
  athletic trainer; her passion for helping others led her to excel in
  these various roles, and after her graduation, she worked as a
  cheerleading coach at Ortiz Middle School while pursuing a nursing
  degree at Del Mar College; and
         WHEREAS, A young woman who drew on her faith for guidance,
  Ms. Guerra was a valued member of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles
  Catholic Church; her warmth and compassion were apparent in
  everything she did, and her kindness inspired many to in turn show
  kindness to others; and
         WHEREAS, Although her life ended far too soon, the family and
  friends of Nadia Guerra will never forget the grace and love that
  she shared with them, and she will forever hold a treasured place in
  their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Nadia Renee Guerra and
  extend deepest condolences to her many relatives and friends; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Nadia
  Guerra.
