R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Benjamin
  Vojtech Bohac of Houston, who passed away on March 14, 2016, at the
  age of 82; and
         WHEREAS, Born to Vojtech and Marcella Stavinoha Bohac on
  February 6, 1934, in Ammansville, Ben Bohac grew up with his sister,
  Agnes, and two brothers, Stanley and Frank; he served his country in
  Korea as a member of the U.S. Army, and he subsequently enjoyed
  successful careers with Earthman Funeral Directors and Central
  Freight Lines; and
         WHEREAS, In his free hours, Mr. Bohac gave generously of his
  time and talents as a member of the Knights of Columbus and as a
  coach with Oaks Dads' Club, and his dedication to the welfare of his
  community earned him renown as the neighborhood patriarch; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Bohac and his wife, Mildred, shared a rewarding
  marriage that spanned 59 years; they were the proud parents of two
  sons, Gregory and Dwayne, and a daughter, Cherie, and with the
  passing years, they were further blessed with five grandchildren,
  Angie, Britney, Kristina, Dominique, and Reagan, two
  great-grandchildren, Evan and Emma, and three step-grandchildren,
  Foster, Sterling, and Faith; and
         WHEREAS, Ben Bohac touched countless lives with his kindness
  and strength of character, and all those who had the privilege of
  knowing him will forever hold him close in their hearts; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Ben Bohac and that
  sincere condolences be extended to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Mildred Bohac; to his children, Gregory Bohac and his wife,
  Linda, Cherie Tello and her husband, Larry, and Dwayne Bohac; to his
  grandchildren, Angie Eller and her husband, Andrew, Britney Averitt
  and her husband, Josh, Kristina Kubitza and her husband, Kyle,
  Dominique Tello, and Reagan Bohac; to his great-grandchildren, Evan
  and Emma Eller; to his step-grandchildren, Foster, Sterling, and
  Faith Askew; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Benjamin
  Vojtech Bohac.
