R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, The 75th birthday of an esteemed Texan is indeed |
|
|
cause for celebration, and Patricia Lee Kilbane is marking this |
|
|
significant milestone in her life on April 29, 2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1942, the former |
|
|
Patricia Ann Lee is the daughter of Thomas Edward Lee and Margaret |
|
|
Mary Garland Lee; she grew up in her hometown with seven brothers |
|
|
and three sisters; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, She graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati |
|
|
and taught in Montessori schools in Cleveland, Dallas, and San |
|
|
Antonio for 26 years; subsequently, she taught for 11 years in the |
|
|
North East Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On August 3, 1968, she was joined in matrimony to |
|
|
Michael Joseph Kilbane; the couple shared a rewarding relationship |
|
|
of 36 years before his passing in 2004; today, Mrs. Kilbane is |
|
|
devoted to a fine family that has grown to include seven |
|
|
grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Meeting life's challenges with resilience, |
|
|
optimism, and determination, Patricia Kilbane is an inspiration to |
|
|
many people, and she holds a special place in the hearts of all who |
|
|
are privileged to know her; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Patricia Lee Kilbane on her 75th |
|
|
birthday and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Kilbane as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
