R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Corporal Chad Baize is among the Texas Department of |
|
|
Public Safety personnel from House District 68 who have rendered |
|
|
outstanding service at the Texas-Mexico border; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated contributions to Operation |
|
|
Secure Texas, Corporal Baize has helped to maintain border security |
|
|
in the Rio Grande Valley and to reduce crime in the region; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Leaving his family and community behind for extended |
|
|
periods of time to fulfill his duties in this vital mission, |
|
|
Corporal Baize has willingly placed himself in harm's way to |
|
|
safeguard the lives and property of his fellow citizens, and he is |
|
|
truly deserving of our gratitude and praise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Texas Department of Public Safety |
|
|
Corporal Chad Baize for his valorous efforts at the Texas-Mexico |
|
|
border as part of Operation Secure Texas and extend to him sincere |
|
|
appreciation for his admirable public service; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Corporal Baize as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
