R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, In May 2017, Bailey Hall of Mount Pleasant is
  graduating from Chapel Hill High School with honors and a
  distinguished level of achievement while also earning an associate
  degree in accounting from Northeast Texas Community College; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Hall earned her associate degree while still in
  high school by taking as many as 19 hours of coursework per semester
  and attending classes during the summer and between semesters; and
         WHEREAS, Currently vice president of her senior class and the
  student council, Ms. Hall also serves as secretary of her school's
  National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America
  chapters and as a member of FFA, the Spanish Club, and the IDEA
  program; she has excelled in UIL programs, including debate,
  extemporaneous speaking, and theater, and she has been a valued
  member of her school's varsity cheerleading and softball teams; her
  achievements have been recognized with the Young Women in Public
  Affairs Award from Zonta and the Rotary Youth Leadership Award; and
         WHEREAS, An active member of First Baptist Church in Mount
  Pleasant, Ms. Hall has participated in missions with World Changers
  and MissionFuge; she has also led summer activities for children at
  a women's shelter and tutored through the Titus County Reads
  program; and
         WHEREAS, Bailey Hall's boundless energy, exceptional
  scholastic ability, and commitment to excellence have opened the
  way to a bright and promising future for this outstanding young
  Texan; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Bailey Hall on her graduation from
  Chapel Hill High School and Northeast Texas Community College and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Hall as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
