R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Josue M. Villarreal of San Pedro Elementary School |
|
|
has been named the 2016-2017 Elementary Teacher of the Year in the |
|
|
Robstown Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |
|
|
become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|
|
who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |
|
|
in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A second grade bilingual teacher, Mr. Villarreal |
|
|
has taught in the Robstown ISD for a decade, and throughout his |
|
|
tenure, he has sought to instill in his students the strong work |
|
|
ethic and commitment to self-discipline that pave the way to |
|
|
opportunity; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Josue Villarreal exemplifies the passion, |
|
|
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |
|
|
best teachers, and he has set a standard of excellence to which all |
|
|
in his profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Josue M. Villarreal on his |
|
|
selection as the 2016-2017 Elementary Teacher of the Year in the |
|
|
Robstown Independent School District and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success with his important work; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Villarreal as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
