R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Aynsley Chaloupka has been honored with a 2017 |
|
|
scholarship from the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show |
|
|
Association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the association recognizes young people |
|
|
who have distinguished themselves through their participation in |
|
|
the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show, which takes place in |
|
|
January; funded by proceeds raised at the event, the 2017 |
|
|
scholarship awards were presented to 18 area high school seniors |
|
|
based on a range of criteria, including academic achievement, |
|
|
college readiness, and membership in FFA, 4-H, or Family, Career |
|
|
and Community Leaders of America programs; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the Chaparral 4-H Club, Aynsley |
|
|
Chaloupka is graduating from Tuloso-Midway High School and is |
|
|
looking forward to pursuing a degree at Texas A&M University--Corpus |
|
|
Christi; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has brought great pride |
|
|
to her family and community, and the exceptional talent, aptitude, |
|
|
and drive that she has demonstrated are certain to serve her well in |
|
|
all her future endeavors; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Aynsley Chaloupka on her receipt of |
|
|
a 2017 scholarship from the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show |
|
|
Association and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Chaloupka as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
