R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Larry and Carla Schneider of |
|
|
Greenville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 25, |
|
|
2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Schneider were united in matrimony in |
|
|
Slaton in 1967; over the years, their family has grown to include |
|
|
their children, Angela Sage and her husband, Johnnie, Jamie |
|
|
Schneider, and Jon Schneider and his wife, Amber, as well as their |
|
|
grandchildren, Gracey and Grant Schneider; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and |
|
|
Mrs. Schneider both retired from rewarding careers with L-3 |
|
|
Technologies in 2009, and they take great joy in spending time |
|
|
together with their treasured family and caring friends; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|
|
half century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|
|
in their commitment to each other, and the strength of their love |
|
|
has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|
|
grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Larry and Carla Schneider on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Schneider as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
