R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Members of the Burleson Young Executives Alliance |
|
|
Class of 2017 are visiting the State Capitol in Austin on April 12, |
|
|
2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established by the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce |
|
|
in 2015, BYEA is a dynamic networking and training program for young |
|
|
professionals who hold leadership positions in businesses and other |
|
|
organizations in the Burleson area; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, From March through November, BYEA participants |
|
|
attend monthly half-day sessions during which they meet with local |
|
|
leaders, gain a better understanding of the governance of the City |
|
|
of Burleson, and collaborate with others to develop new ways of |
|
|
giving back to their fellow residents; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The prosperity and well-being of the Lone Star State |
|
|
is greatly enhanced by the civic engagement of its young |
|
|
professionals, and by taking part in this unique program, the |
|
|
members of the BYEA Class of 2017 have demonstrated their |
|
|
dedication to personal growth, career advancement, and community |
|
|
service; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor the members of the Burleson Young |
|
|
Executives Alliance Class of 2017 on their visit to the State |
|
|
Capitol and extend to them sincere best wishes for a meaningful and |
|
|
memorable trip to Austin; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the BYEA Class of 2017 as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
