R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Micah Davidson, a graduate of Valley View High |
|
|
School, received a 2015 Built Ford Tough scholarship from the |
|
|
National FFA Organization; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sponsored by Glenn Polk Ford of Gainesville, the |
|
|
$1,000 scholarship recognizes Mr. Davidson's leadership experience |
|
|
and academic excellence as well as his involvement in the Valley |
|
|
View FFA and other school and community activities; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The National FFA Organization scholarship program |
|
|
encourages excellence and enables students to pursue their |
|
|
educational goals; funding for the program comes from individual |
|
|
and business donations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A truly deserving recipient, Micah Davidson has |
|
|
demonstrated determination and perseverance in the pursuit of his |
|
|
goals, and he may indeed look forward to a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Micah Davidson on his receipt of a |
|
|
2015 National FFA Organization scholarship and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Davidson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
