R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, August 18, 2016, was indeed a special day in the |
|
|
lives of Francisco Martinez and former state representative Marisa |
|
|
Marquez, for on that day they became the proud parents of a darling |
|
|
baby boy, Ricardo Candelaria Martinez; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ricardo weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured |
|
|
19-1/2 inches in length when he made his long-awaited arrival at |
|
|
7:20 a.m. at the Sierra Campus of the Hospitals of Providence in El |
|
|
Paso; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This adorable little boy is the grandson of |
|
|
Dr. Ricardo Marquez, Gloria Flores Aceves, Jesus P. Martinez, and |
|
|
the late Manuela Gomez Martinez; he is also the godson of Nina |
|
|
Villarreal and Jerry Martinez; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ricardo begins his life secure in the safe and |
|
|
loving embrace of his family, and with their support, dedication, |
|
|
and guidance, he may truly look forward to a bright and promising |
|
|
future; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Francisco Martinez and Marisa |
|
|
Marquez on the birth of their beloved son and welcome Ricardo |
|
|
Candelaria Martinez as a new citizen of Texas; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the family as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
