R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ryan Walters, a student at Solomon Coles High School |
|
|
in Corpus Christi, was recognized as a recipient of the Education to |
|
|
Employment Partners Scholarship at the annual E2E meeting on April |
|
|
19, 2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, To be eligible for this scholarship, students must |
|
|
be enrolled in a member school district, and honorees are selected |
|
|
based on the strength of their application and on a personal |
|
|
statement describing their goals for the future; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, After graduating from high school, this outstanding |
|
|
young Texan plans to continue his education at the Craft Training |
|
|
Center in Corpus Christi, where he will study welding; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, Ryan |
|
|
Walters has demonstrated determination and perseverance in the |
|
|
pursuit of his goals, and he may indeed look forward to a future |
|
|
bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ryan Walters on his receipt of a |
|
|
2017 Education to Employment Partners Scholarship and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Walters as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
