R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Joseph Manago has been named principal of Andress |
|
|
High School in El Paso; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An alumnus of The University of Texas at El Paso, |
|
|
where he graduated with bachelor's and master's degrees, Mr. Manago |
|
|
has enjoyed a notable career in education that has spanned nearly a |
|
|
quarter century; before joining El Paso ISD, he worked as an English |
|
|
teacher for both the Ysleta and Socorro Independent School |
|
|
Districts and served as a high school assistant principal and |
|
|
assistant fine arts director for Socorro ISD; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Manago has ably served EPISD as principal of |
|
|
Nolan Richardson Middle School, and his outstanding efforts have |
|
|
earned him the respect and admiration of students and colleagues |
|
|
alike; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joseph Manago's dedication to his profession has |
|
|
made a positive difference in the lives of countless young Texans, |
|
|
and he may indeed reflect with pride on his numerous |
|
|
accomplishments as he takes on this challenging new role; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Joseph Manago on his appointment as |
|
|
principal of Andress High School and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Manago as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
