R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Joseph Manago has been named principal of Andress
  High School in El Paso; and
         WHEREAS, An alumnus of The University of Texas at El Paso,
  where he graduated with bachelor's and master's degrees, Mr. Manago
  has enjoyed a notable career in education that has spanned nearly a
  quarter century; before joining El Paso ISD, he worked as an English
  teacher for both the Ysleta and Socorro Independent School
  Districts and served as a high school assistant principal and
  assistant fine arts director for Socorro ISD; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Manago has ably served EPISD as principal of
  Nolan Richardson Middle School, and his outstanding efforts have
  earned him the respect and admiration of students and colleagues
  alike; and
         WHEREAS, Joseph Manago's dedication to his profession has
  made a positive difference in the lives of countless young Texans,
  and he may indeed reflect with pride on his numerous
  accomplishments as he takes on this challenging new role; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Joseph Manago on his appointment as
  principal of Andress High School and extend to him sincere best
  wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Manago as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
