R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Cristan has been presented with an |
|
|
Outstanding Award by the Student Support Services program at Texas |
|
|
A&M University--Corpus Christi; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, SSS is part of the university's Programs for |
|
|
Academic Student Support (PASS) initiative, which furthers the |
|
|
goals of TAMU--CC by providing resources to low-income, |
|
|
first-generation, and underrepresented students; in receiving an |
|
|
Outstanding Award, Ms. Cristan was recognized for her notable |
|
|
record of scholastic achievement; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Corpus Christi, Ms. Cristan is currently |
|
|
a senior at TAMU--CC, where she is working toward a bachelor's |
|
|
degree in information technology; after graduating, she plans to |
|
|
pursue a career in programming and cybersecurity; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Cristan is indeed deserving of this |
|
|
prestigious honor, and she may look forward to a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Elizabeth Cristan on her receipt of |
|
|
a Student Support Services Outstanding Award and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Cristan as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
