R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Juan Martinez Robles has been presented with an |
|
|
Outstanding Award from the Project GRAD program at Texas A&M |
|
|
University--Corpus Christi; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Project GRAD is part of the university's Programs |
|
|
for Academic Student Support (PASS) initiative, which furthers the |
|
|
goals of TAMU--CC by providing resources to low-income, |
|
|
first-generation, and underrepresented students; in receiving an |
|
|
Outstanding Award, Mr. Robles was recognized for his notable record |
|
|
of scholastic achievement; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A freshman at TAMU--CC, Mr. Robles is working toward |
|
|
a degree in biomedical science; after graduating, he plans to |
|
|
attend medical school and pursue a career in obstetrics and |
|
|
gynecology; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Juan Martinez Robles is indeed deserving of this |
|
|
prestigious honor, and he may look forward to a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Juan Martinez Robles on his receipt |
|
|
of a Project GRAD Outstanding Award and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Robles as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
