R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Zackary K. Griffin has ably served his fellow Texans
  as legislative director in the office of State Representative Scott
  Sanford during the 85th Legislature; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Griffin's resourcefulness and initiative have
  earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his contributions to
  carrying forth Representative Sanford's legislative agenda have
  helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State;
  and
         WHEREAS, Zack Griffin is a cum laude graduate of Stephen F.
  Austin State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in
  political science with a minor in psychology; as a student, he held
  membership in the Pi Sigma Alpha political science honor society
  and served as treasurer and deputy of risk management for the
  Driving Jacks student organization; before his appointment as
  legislative director, he gained valuable experience as a
  legislative intern during the 84th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his
  duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and he is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Zackary K. Griffin for his service as
  legislative director in the office of State Representative Scott
  Sanford and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Griffin as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
