R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Nora M. Isaac has been presented with an Outstanding |
|
|
Award from the Student Support Services Teacher Prep Program at |
|
|
Texas A&M University--Corpus Christi; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Teacher Prep Program is part of the university's |
|
|
Programs for Academic Student Support (PASS) initiative, which |
|
|
furthers the goals of TAMU--CC by providing resources to |
|
|
low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students; in |
|
|
receiving an Outstanding Award, Ms. Isaac was recognized for |
|
|
excelling academically; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Georgetown, Ms. Isaac is a senior |
|
|
majoring in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in K-12 |
|
|
special education; she looks forward to a teaching career in |
|
|
Dallas, and, after having gained a few years of classroom |
|
|
experience, she hopes to pursue a master's degree; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Nora Isaac is indeed deserving of this prestigious |
|
|
honor, and she may look forward to a future bright with promise; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Nora M. Isaac on her receipt of an |
|
|
SSS Teacher Prep Program Outstanding Award and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|

ESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Isaac as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
