R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Locally owned businesses play an essential role in |
|
|
the vitality and well-being of their communities, and Robles Tire |
|
|
Repair Services in Robstown is one such enterprise; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established by Jose Angel Robles in February 1971, |
|
|
the shop moved in 1984 from its original West Main Street location |
|
|
to East Avenue G, where it remained for nearly 24 years; it has |
|
|
operated from its current site on North Upshaw Boulevard since |
|
|
February 2008; today, the family business continues to be run by its |
|
|
founder, with help from his wife, his son, and his grandsons; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Robles Tire Repair Services has built a record of |
|
|
dependability and longevity that has earned it a special degree of |
|
|
esteem in the Robstown community, and all those associated with the |
|
|
company may take great pride in its achievements; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize Robles Tire Repair Services for its 46 |
|
|
years of operation and extend to Jose Robles and his family sincere |
|
|
best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Robles as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
