R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Noe Anguiano has been presented with an Outstanding |
|
|
Award from the Student Support Services--STEM program at Texas A&M |
|
|
University--Corpus Christi; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, SSS-STEM is part of the university's Programs for |
|
|
Academic Student Support (PASS) initiative, which furthers the |
|
|
goals of TAMU--CC by providing resources to low-income, |
|
|
first-generation, and underrepresented students; in receiving an |
|
|
Outstanding Award, Mr. Anguiano was recognized for his academic |
|
|
achievements as a student majoring in a science, technology, |
|
|
engineering, or mathematics field of study; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of San Antonio, Mr. Anguiano is currently a |
|
|
sophomore at TAMU--CC, where he is working toward a degree in |
|
|
biomedical science; after graduating, he plans to pursue a career |
|
|
as a physician assistant; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Noe Anguiano is indeed deserving of this prestigious |
|
|
honor, and he may look forward to a future bright with promise; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Noe Anguiano on his receipt of a |
|
|
Student Support Services--STEM Outstanding Award and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
|
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Anguiano as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
