R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Shannon Wissel has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
an assistant in the office of State Representative Yvonne Davis |
|
|
during the 85th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Wissel has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Wissel studied ocean engineering at Texas A&M |
|
|
University at Galveston, and she has continued her education at |
|
|
Austin Community College, where she is currently an engineering |
|
|
student; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as an |
|
|
office assistant with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Shannon Wissel for her service as an |
|
|
assistant in the office of State Representative Yvonne Davis and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Wissel as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
