R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Alexander Stephens has ably served his fellow Texans |
|
|
as a legislative analyst in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Rodney Anderson during the 85th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Stephens has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Kenneth and Catherine Stephens, |
|
|
Mr. Stephens was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where he |
|
|
graduated from Pace Academy; he holds a bachelor's degree from the |
|
|
Dedman College of Liberal Arts at Southern Methodist University; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
|
duties as a legislative analyst with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Alexander Stephens for his service as a |
|
|
legislative analyst in the office of State Representative Rodney |
|
|
Anderson and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Stephens as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
