R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 85th Legislative Session, Cassidy Taylor |
|
|
Zgabay has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office |
|
|
of State Representative Dwayne Bohac through the Texas A&M |
|
|
University Public Policy Internship Program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Zgabay has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the Texas A&M University Class of 2017, |
|
|
Ms. Zgabay focused her studies on political science with a minor in |
|
|
history; she successfully balanced a challenging course load with |
|
|
employment as an office technician for Texas A&M Instructional |
|
|
Media Services, and she earned placement on the dean's list; |
|
|
moreover, she has taken part in the FOCUS Student Leadership Summit |
|
|
and served as the fund-raising chair for the Collaborative Aggies |
|
|
Leadership Initiative; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Cassidy Taylor Zgabay for her service as |
|
|
a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dwayne |
|
|
Bohac and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Zgabay as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
