R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Alyssa Lynn Olivarez has been named valedictorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2017 at Robstown Early College High School, and she |
|
|
indeed merits special recognition for receiving this significant |
|
|
honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Olivarez demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Anita Naranjo and Ricardo Olivarez, |
|
|
Ms. Olivarez plans to continue her education at Texas A&M |
|
|
University--Kingsville; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Alyssa Lynn |
|
|
Olivarez has earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers |
|
|
and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Alyssa Lynn Olivarez, |
|
|
valedictorian of the Class of 2017 at Robstown Early College High |
|
|
School, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Olivarez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
