R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Mathew Hernandez is graduating as the salutatorian |
|
of the senior class of Robstown Early College High School in 2017; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; Mr. Hernandez has demonstrated a |
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his |
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Elizabeth and Basilio Hernandez, |
|
Mr. Hernandez plans to continue his education at Texas A&M |
|
University--Kingsville, studying mechanical engineering; and |
|
WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Mathew Hernandez |
|
has earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and |
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mathew Hernandez, salutatorian of |
|
the Class of 2017 at Robstown Early College High School, and extend |
|
to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the |
|
next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Hernandez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
