R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Cara Campos has ably served her fellow Texans as an
  intern in the office of State Representative Joe Moody during the
  85th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Campos has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
  in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
  service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Julie and Steve Campos, Ms. Campos
  was born and raised in Austin and attended Baylor University, where
  she studied English; while an undergraduate student, she gave back
  to her community by tutoring student-athletes at Baylor and at-risk
  youth in the Waco community, an experience that inspired her to
  pursue a career as a public interest attorney; after receiving her
  bachelor's degree in 2016, she enrolled in The University of Texas
  School of Law; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Cara Campos for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Joe Moody
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
  her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Campos as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
