R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Emily Bresnahan has ably served the citizens of
  Texas as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative
  Joe Moody and as an assistant clerk for the House Committee on
  Criminal Jurisprudence during the 85th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the Texas legislative community,
  Ms. Bresnahan has provided vital assistance in handling a wide
  variety of challenging tasks; in addition to gaining valuable
  experience in the field of public service, she has learned more
  about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the
  Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of David and Debra Bresnahan,
  Ms. Bresnahan grew up in New Jersey, and she is currently pursuing
  dual master's degrees in public affairs and social work at The
  University of Texas at Austin; her graduate studies have focused on
  immigration and criminal justice policy; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding individual has performed her
  duties as a legislative aide and assistant clerk with skill and
  dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for
  her fine work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Emily Bresnahan for her service as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative Joe Moody
  and as an assistant clerk for the House Committee on Criminal
  Jurisprudence and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Bresnahan as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
