R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Caitlin Delaney Mitten is graduating as the |
|
|
salutatorian of the senior class of Mary Carroll High School in |
|
|
2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Mitten has demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Krystal Ann Mitten and Randy Mitten, |
|
|
Ms. Mitten plans to continue her education at Texas A&M |
|
|
University--Corpus Christi, studying nursing; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Caitlin Delaney |
|
|
Mitten has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Caitlin Delaney Mitten, |
|
|
salutatorian of the Class of 2017 at Mary Carroll High School, and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she |
|
|
begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Mitten as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
