R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Office of the House Sergeant-at-Arms has played
  an essential role in the activities of the Texas House of
  Representatives during the Regular Session of the 85th Legislature;
  and
         WHEREAS, House sergeant-at-arms David Sauceda is responsible
  for maintaining order in the house chamber and meeting rooms,
  securing the attendance of members, and assisting all house
  officers in carrying out their administrative duties; assistant
  sergeant-at-arms Robert Barrios oversees the daily activities of
  the sergeant messengers, who contribute to the efficiency of the
  legislative process in innumerable ways; and
         WHEREAS, The tasks of the sergeant's office could not be
  performed without the support of office supervisors, who include
  Christopher Currens, Jacob Del Bosque, Alana Hays, Kimberly
  Nemecek, and Kyle Paylor; and
         WHEREAS, Safeguarding the vehicles of legislators and
  guaranteeing the availability of their parking spaces are other
  functions of the office, and Jerry Amaya, Joseph Collins, Walter
  Kyles, Juan Marinez, Billy Moore, Richard Robinson, Rudell Roe, and
  Joe Saucedo are the house parking attendants; and
         WHEREAS, The staff also includes sergeant messengers Stanley
  Adams, Brendan Anders, Luke Barton, Bradley Bizzell, Robert Cone,
  Alexis Cox, Yaroslav Duncan, Aime Espinoza Contreras, Alisa Fayne,
  Sarah Flautt, Virginia Flores, Karla Howard, Alexandria Jonas,
  Reagan Massengale, Jacqueline Morales, Nicholas Morris, Chancellor
  Nettles, Joseph Nixon, Andrew Phinney, Jared Rankin, Nathan Ruddy,
  Emilie Salort, Ashton Sauseda, Mesia Sharp, John Sparks, Benjamin
  Steffy, Thomas Sullivan, Michelle Tran, Carson Van Winkle, Holden
  Wenger, Zoe Wilcocks, Caleb Wood, Matthew Wright, and Waamene
  Yowika; and
         WHEREAS, These dedicated employees help to ensure the success
  of the day-to-day operations of the Texas House of Representatives,
  and the members of this chamber are pleased to express their
  gratitude for a job well done; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend David Sauceda and the staff of the
  Office of the House Sergeant-at-Arms for their exceptional work
  this session and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the office as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
