R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, John Daniel Hagan has ably served his fellow Texans
  as an aide in the office of State Representative James White during
  the 85th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Hagan has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  such as managing constituent correspondence, providing bill
  analysis, and performing issue tracking and research; in addition
  to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he
  has learned more about the legislative process and the issues
  facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Daniel and Mary Hagan,
  Mr. Hagan hails from El Paso, where he attended Coronado High
  School and played for the school's championship hockey team; he has
  continued his education at The University of Texas at Austin and
  expects to graduate in 2018 with bachelor's degrees in government
  and history; active in his community, he gives generously of his
  time and talents to the Texas Federalist Society, the Texas College
  Republicans, the Texas Exes Student Division, and the Swedish Club
  at UT, which he cofounded; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
  duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend John Daniel Hagan for his service as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative James White
  and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all
  his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Hagan as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
