R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, John Daniel Hagan has ably served his fellow Texans |
|
as an aide in the office of State Representative James White during |
|
the 85th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Hagan has provided |
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
such as managing constituent correspondence, providing bill |
|
analysis, and performing issue tracking and research; in addition |
|
to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he |
|
has learned more about the legislative process and the issues |
|
facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Daniel and Mary Hagan, |
|
Mr. Hagan hails from El Paso, where he attended Coronado High |
|
School and played for the school's championship hockey team; he has |
|
continued his education at The University of Texas at Austin and |
|
expects to graduate in 2018 with bachelor's degrees in government |
|
and history; active in his community, he gives generously of his |
|
time and talents to the Texas Federalist Society, the Texas College |
|
Republicans, the Texas Exes Student Division, and the Swedish Club |
|
at UT, which he cofounded; and |
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend John Daniel Hagan for his service as a |
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative James White |
|
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
|
his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Hagan as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
