R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Cassidy Story has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
an aide in the office of State Representative Kyle Kacal during the |
|
|
85th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Story has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Story is a 2015 graduate of Tivy High School in |
|
|
Kerrville, and she is currently studying political science and |
|
|
sociology at Baylor University; a member of the Baylor Pre-Law |
|
|
Society, the Ampersand Society, and the Baylor Ambassadors, she |
|
|
also takes part in mock trial and volunteers with the Baylor Urban |
|
|
Missions after-school program and Caritas Food Pantry; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Cassidy Story for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Kyle Kacal |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
|
|
her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Story as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
