R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Rudy Alexander Zavala is celebrating that |
|
|
significant achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the |
|
|
Americas High School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Zavala is among the students who have completed |
|
|
their secondary education in the academy's Advanced Academics |
|
|
Program, which features specialized curricula focused on law, |
|
|
government, and public administration; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Rudy Zavala, Mr. Zavala has been involved |
|
|
in a number of extracurricular activities throughout his high |
|
|
school career, participating in AVID and debate, competing in the |
|
|
Texas Forensic Association tournament, and attending an |
|
|
educational summit in Davos, Switzerland; following his |
|
|
graduation, he plans to continue his education studying psychology |
|
|
in college in hopes of eventually pursuing a career as a prosecutor |
|
|
or FBI agent; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Rudy Alexander Zavala on the |
|
|
occasion of his graduation from the Americas High School Libertas |
|
|
Academy and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Zavala as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
