R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Kimberly Zubiate is celebrating that significant |
|
|
achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the Americas High |
|
|
School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Zubiate is among the students who have completed |
|
|
their secondary education in the academy's Advanced Academics |
|
|
Program, which features specialized curricula focused on law, |
|
|
government, and public administration; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Elizabeth Vargas, Ms. Zubiate |
|
|
participated in a number of extracurricular activities throughout |
|
|
her high school career, including holding membership in DECA and |
|
|
serving as the volleyball manager; she plans to continue her |
|
|
education at El Paso Community College before attending The |
|
|
University of Texas at El Paso to study psychology on her way to |
|
|
earning a degree from Baylor Law School; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kimberly Zubiate on the occasion of |
|
|
her graduation from the Americas High School Libertas Academy and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success and |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Zubiate as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
