R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The untimely death of Lisa Rachelle Freeman Anderson
  of San Marcos on February 25, 2017, at the age of 51, brought a great
  loss to her family and friends; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Jimmie Yancy Freeman and Edith Mae
  Adams Freeman, the former Lisa Freeman was born on March 11, 1965,
  in Anchorage, Alaska, where her father was serving in the U.S. Air
  Force; she met her future husband, Brete Anderson, while completing
  her bachelor's degree in sociology at Southwest Texas State
  University; and
         WHEREAS, The Andersons became the proud parents of a
  daughter, Evalyn Rachelle Anderson, and Ms. Anderson found her true
  passion in raising her; she helped nurture her talents and took
  enormous delight in every one of her accomplishments, as she also
  did in encouraging her family members in their interests and
  pastimes; all the happy times they spent together, from listening
  to music to relaxing at the beach or along the San Marcos River,
  filled her with joy; and
         WHEREAS, Through the years, Ms. Anderson was a tremendous
  source of wisdom and support to her husband in his work for the
  Texas Legislature; even during her illness, she urged him to
  dedicate as much time as he could to his important endeavors in
  behalf of their fellow citizens; and
         WHEREAS, Lisa Anderson immeasurably enriched the lives of all
  who were fortunate enough to know her, and those she has left behind
  will forever treasure their memories of her quirky sense of humor,
  her kindness, and her boundless devotion to her family; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Lisa Anderson and
  extend deepest sympathy to her loved ones; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Lisa
  Rachelle Freeman Anderson.
