R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Karley J. Hendricks is graduating as the |
|
|
valedictorian of the senior class of Agua Dulce High School in 2017; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Hendricks has demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Kari and Wade Hendricks, |
|
|
Ms. Hendricks plans to continue her education at Texas A&M |
|
|
University, studying marketing and international studies; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Karley J. Hendricks |
|
|
has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Karley J. Hendricks, valedictorian |
|
|
of the Class of 2017 at Agua Dulce High School, and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next |
|
|
exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Hendricks as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
