R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Elissa D. Hadnot is graduating as the salutatorian |
|
of the senior class of Agua Dulce High School in 2017; and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Hadnot has demonstrated a thorough |
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
high school career; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Debra Charles and Edmond Hadnot, |
|
Ms. Hadnot plans to continue her education at Texas A&M |
|
University--Kingsville, studying biology; and |
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Elissa D. Hadnot has |
|
earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates, |
|
and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment |
|
to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for |
|
this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Elissa D. Hadnot, salutatorian of |
|
the Class of 2017 at Agua Dulce High School, and extend to her |
|
sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next |
|
exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Hadnot as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
