R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Richard
  George Fettig, who passed away on April 6, 2017, at the age of 69;
  and
         WHEREAS, The son of Richard and Agnes Fettig, Dick Fettig was
  born on July 15, 1947, in Boston; he cofounded the Dallas-based
  temperature control and monitoring company FreshLoc Technologies,
  which he served as executive vice president for nearly three
  decades; and
         WHEREAS, A dedicated family man, Mr. Fettig shared 30 years
  of marriage with his best friend, Donna, and he took great pride in
  his three sons, Jon, Mathew, and Benjamin, as well as his stepson,
  Roger; with the passing years, he had the pleasure of seeing his
  family grow to include three grandchildren, Keaton, Fiona, and
  Paige; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Fettig was a loyal fan of the New England
  Patriots and looked forward to football season all year; he also had
  a passion for boating, and he spent three happy years enjoying the
  water in Naples, Florida; and
         WHEREAS, Although Dick Fettig will be deeply missed, memories
  of his warmth, his infectious sense of humor, and his devotion to
  his family remain to comfort and inspire those he leaves behind;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Richard George Fettig
  and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Donna Fettig; to his son, Jon Fettig, and his wife, Corinne;
  to his stepson, Roger Schoof, and his wife, Jill; to his brothers,
  George Fettig and his wife, Kris, William H. Fettig and his wife,
  Kathleen, and Robert Fettig and his wife, Teresa; to his sisters,
  Lillian MacKinnon and Christine Dever and her husband, Timothy; to
  his grandchildren, Keaton and Fiona Fettig and Paige Schoof; and to
  his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Dick
  Fettig.
