R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Shaelynn Rae Welch of Lubbock, the beloved daughter |
|
|
of Michael and Tori Welch, passed away on May 15, 2017, at the age of |
|
|
four; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born on March 24, 2013, Shaelynn was blessed with |
|
|
the affection of a large and close-knit family that included her |
|
|
siblings, Cameron, Grayson, Madelynn, Kimberlynn, Christian, and |
|
|
Carson, and her sister and best friend, Addison; she went to school |
|
|
at Lil' Haden's Playhouse and Learning Center, where she enjoyed |
|
|
visiting with her friends and helping out her teachers; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A natural-born nurturer, Shaelynn demonstrated her |
|
|
kindness and concern for others in many ways; she had a generous |
|
|
heart and a smile that lit up the room, and she always took care to |
|
|
remind those closest to her how much she loved them; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Although it is immeasurably painful to say goodbye |
|
|
to this precious little girl, Shaelynn Welch brightened the lives |
|
|
of everyone around her, and they will forever carry her memory in |
|
|
their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Shaelynn Rae Welch and |
|
|
extend deepest condolences to all those who mourn her passing; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Shaelynn |
|
|
Welch. |
