R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Katie Lynn Gasiorowski is graduating as the |
|
|
salutatorian of the senior class of W. B. Ray High School in 2017; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Gasiorowski has demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Laura and Brian Gasiorowski, |
|
|
Ms. Gasiorowski plans to continue her education at Baylor |
|
|
University, studying mechanical engineering; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Katie Lynn |
|
|
Gasiorowski has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers |
|
|
and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, |
|
|
and commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |

|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Katie Lynn Gasiorowski, |
|
|
salutatorian of the Class of 2017 at W. B. Ray High School, and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she |
|
|
begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Gasiorowski as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
