R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Amanda Jean Vodicka is graduating as the |
|
valedictorian of the senior class of Harold T. Branch Academy for |
|
Career and Technical Education in 2017; and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Vodicka has demonstrated a thorough |
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
high school career; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Michael and Jeanette Vodicka, |
|
Ms. Vodicka plans to continue her education at Fort Lewis College, |
|
studying anthropology; and |
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Amanda Jean Vodicka |
|
has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and |
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Amanda Jean Vodicka, valedictorian |
|
of the Class of 2017 at Harold T. Branch Academy for Career and |
|
Technical Education, and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
continued success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her |
|
life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Vodicka as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
