R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Janelle Sosa is graduating as the salutatorian of |
|
|
the senior class of Harold T. Branch Academy for Career and |
|
|
Technical Education in 2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Ms. Sosa has demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Joseph and Cydia Sosa, Ms. Sosa |
|
|
plans to continue her education at The University of Texas at |
|
|
Austin, studying public relations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Janelle Sosa has |
|
|
earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates, |
|
|
and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for |
|
|
this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Janelle Sosa, salutatorian of the |
|
|
Class of 2017 at Harold T. Branch Academy for Career and Technical |
|
|
Education, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Sosa as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
