R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mario Ramirez Jr. is graduating as the salutatorian |
|
|
of the senior class of West Oso High School in 2017; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Mr. Ramirez has demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Carmen and Mario Ramirez, Mr. Ramirez |
|
|
plans to continue his education at Texas Southern University or |
|
|
Prairie View A&M University, studying music education; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Mario Ramirez |
|
|
Jr. has earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mario Ramirez Jr., salutatorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2017 at West Oso High School, and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success as he begins the next exciting |
|
|
chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Ramirez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
