R E S O L U T I O N

|
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State of |
|
|
Texas, 85th Legislature, Regular Session, 2017, That House Rule 13, |
|
|
Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule 13, |
|
|
Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to |
|
|
resolve the differences on Senate Bill 2065 (the licensing and |
|
|
regulation of certain occupations and activities) to consider and |
|
|
take action on the following matter: |
|
|
House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(2), is suspended to permit the |
|
|
committee to omit text not in disagreement by omitting SECTION |
|
|
6.002 of the senate engrossment of Senate Bill 2065 and the |
|
|
corresponding section of the bill as the bill was amended by the |
|
|
house, which reads as follows: |
|
|
SECTION 6.002. This Act takes effect only if a specific |
|
|
appropriation for the implementation of the Act is provided in a |
|
|
general appropriations act of the 85th Legislature. |
|
|
Explanation: The omission is necessary to ensure the |
|
|
implementation of the Act as intended by the 85th Legislature, |
|
|
Regular Session, 2017. |
